5. Risk Disclosure
Trading and investing in financial instruments, including but not limited to Contracts for Difference (CFDs), Cryptocurrencies, Stocks, and Futures, involves a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all individuals. Financial markets are volatile, unpredictable, and influenced by numerous economic, political, regulatory, technological, psychological factors and other factors. Asset prices may rise or fall rapidly, and there is no guarantee that any trading or investment strategy or activity will generate profits. You should never trade or invest money that you cannot afford to lose. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Historical returns, hypothetical performance, backtesting results, or simulated trading examples and environments should not be relied upon as guarantees of future profitability. This section does not disclose all of the risks and other significant aspects of trading and investing in futures, cfds, crypto and stocks. You should carefully consider and evaluate whether trading and investing is appropriate for you in light of your experience, objectives, risk-tolerance, financial resources, financial situation and other relevant circumstances. You should fully understand all the risks involved and also to seek advice from an independent and appropriately licensed financial advisor before participating in these markets. You acknowledge and accept full responsibility for your own actions.
5.1. Futures Risk Disclosure
Trading futures contracts involves significant financial risk due to the use of leverage and may not be suitable for all individuals. Leverage allows traders to control a larger position with a relatively small amount of capital. While leverage may amplify profits, it can equally amplify losses, potentially resulting in losses exceeding your initial investment where applicable under your broker's terms and local regulations. A relatively small market movement will have a proportionately larger impact on the funds you have deposited or will have to deposit: this may work against you as well as for you. You may sustain a total loss of initial margin funds and any additional funds deposited with the firm to maintain your position. If the market moves against your position or margin levels are increased, you may be called upon to pay substantial additional funds on short notice to maintain your position. If you fail to comply with a request for additional funds within the time prescribed, your position may be liquidated at a loss, and you will be liable for any resulting deficit. The placing of certain orders (e.g., “stop-loss” orders, where permitted under local law, or “stop-limit” orders) which are intended to limit losses to certain amounts may not be effective because market conditions may make it impossible to execute such orders. Strategies using combinations of positions, such as “spread” and “straddle” positions, may be as risky as taking simple “long” or “short” positions. Futures markets can experience: rapid price movements, high volatility, liquidity risks, margin calls, forced liquidation of positions. You should fully understand how futures contracts, margin requirements, and leverage operate and also to seek advice from an independent and appropriately licensed financial advisor before participating in these markets.
5.2. CFDs Risk Disclosure
Contracts for Difference products (CFDs) are complex leveraged financial instruments that carry a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all individuals. Because CFDs are traded using leverage, relatively small market movements can have a significant impact on your account balance and it is possible to lose all of the capital deposited into your trading account. You should ensure that you fully understand how CFDs work and seek advice from an independent and appropriately licensed financial advisor before participating in these markets.
5.3. Stock Market Risk Disclosure
Investing in stocks, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), options, mutual funds, exchange-traded products (ETPs), and other securities involves substantial risk and may not be suitable for every individual Prices of these financial products may fluctuate due to company performance, earnings announcements, interest rate changes, economic conditions, market sentiment, geopolitical events, regulatory developments, or industry-specific risks. Dividend payments are not guaranteed, and companies may reduce or eliminate dividends at any time. Diversification does not guarantee profits or protect against losses. There is no guarantee of profit, and you may lose some or all of your invested capital.
5.4. Cryptocurrencies Risk Disclosure
Cryptocurrencies, digital assets, stablecoins, utility tokens, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, and other blockchain-based assets are highly speculative and extremely volatile, and involve substantial risk and may not be suitable for every individual. Digital asset markets are volatile and may experience rapid and significant price fluctuations over short periods of time. Cryptocurrencies are generally not backed by governments or central banks and may be subject to technological risks, regulatory changes, cybersecurity threats, exchange failures, smart contract vulnerabilities, hacking incidents, and permanent loss of access due to lost private keys. There is no guarantee that cryptocurrencies will maintain their value or continue to exist in their current form. Investing or trading cryptocurrencies may result in the partial or complete loss of your capital. You should ensure that you fully understand how Cryptocurrencies and other digital assets work and seek advice from an independent and appropriately licensed financial advisor before participating in these markets.
